Many of those experienced in Munich’s nightlife will now cry out: „This is not a secret anymore!“ – and to some extend they’re right. This special bar in the Glockenbachviertel already has a reputation, but it’s still unknown to many. Which is also good, as it’s probably a similar size to your lounge, and it seems that after 11pm it’s always too crowded to find a spot to stand up in (don’t even think you could manage to snatch one of the rare couch-spots at this time!).

Matchless got the chance to meet up with the young and aspiring singer/songwriter Meiko. With one album already on the market, we got to talk to her about her new album, as well as how the internet affected her career.

We begin Matchless’ “Pick-of-the-Week,” in which the Matchless team will share their favorite finds, hot spots, and hidden treasures around Munich, with a quiet café on a rather bustling block: Bagels and Muffins.  

He did it again: Tim “Every Hairdresser's Nightmare” Burton, ruler of the gloomy netherworld between fairy tales and horror stories, just hit the cinemas with his latest opus Alice in Wonderland.

 Matchless got a chance to meet up with the US singer and songwriter William Fitzsimmons. We talked to him about his upcoming album and we didn't miss the chance to ask about his beard.
