It's been a quiet few months at Matchless - we're at two antitheses - hibernation or snowboarding in the mountains. But here's a little update from me as to what's happening in Munich next week.

They knew what they were expected to do. For thousands of years these rules have been obeyed, by their parents, their grandparents and their great-grandparents, back into those dark and hazy times where the two trajectories of reality and myth finally meet.

Maybe most of you consider yourself exclusive, cool or trendy. You think that your alternative style of life, your fashion and your hobbies are original and some other people believe that they are creating a trend or are a proponent of avant-garde…No, my dears, it was already made, you are just following a movement called hipster.

Tonight we kick off this autumnal week in Munich with the much-anticipated Junip show. After the gig was cancelled back in July, due to logistic issues, the band are playing in 59:1. If you haven't already got your ticket, you're out of luck - the concert is completely sold out. If you were lucky enough to attend the Jose Gonzalez performance in the Herkulessaal (Residenz) this summer, you will know what a fantastic live voice Gonzalez has. It's only Sunday, and we have our gig of the week.
